This summer i made a stool using wool from these lovely sheep.They are Welsh Kerry Hills, their flock name is Dunstarn and they live in Addingham near Leeds. They are a pretty rare bread - i havent come across sheep with black markings like that before - they look amazing !The wool was really lovely to knit and all the more special when you know where it comes from. I will have a few pieces in Milan Furniture Fair next week with Designers Block. Designersblock takes place at MOST this year which is a new centre of activity at theMuseo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan next April. From 17 to 22 April 2012 leading designers, curators and companies will exhibit in and around the city’s museum of science and technology, housed in a 16th century monastery. Pop along if you are in Milan ! x
